CPOS HESITANT TO SPEND MORE ON CSR

Date : 2013-03-18
Composantes : Analyse et mesure

A new study shows that while elements of CSR may not be expensive, there are doubts over commitment among CPOs to spend more. According to the results of the newest executive research study by Procurement Leaders Embedding CSR in the Function, just over half of procurement organisations (56%) have managed to improve their CSR performance without any cost increases, and nearly a third (31%) stated they have had to accept marginally higher costs. This finding highlights a frequently asked question: Does CSR or sustainability necessarily have to cost more?
