This is the latest report produced by Next Manufacturing Revolution, a collaboration between Lavery Pennell, the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Manufacturing and 2degrees.This report presents the business case for resource efficiency and how to access the available opportunities. It includes a 2023 Vision for the sector which has been collaboratively developed to include improvements currently available – but which are not being exploited. A roadmap of action is also presented which will see WRAP, FDF, EEF, the University of Cambridge and the Next Manufacturing Revolution striving to achieve this vision. The document represents two years of research, peer review, and a summit workshop bringing together key companies, government departments and industry bodies.
