Responsible Procurement Barometer

ECPAR measures the progress of Canadian organizations in responsible purchasing every four years, in collaboration with research centers and practitioners.

So far two editions of this measure have been produced.
- 2012 Responsible Procurement Barometer - French Only
2016 Responsible Procurement Barometer

This project was led by the ECPAR in collaboration with the Chaire de recherche Marcelle-Mallet sur la culture philanthropique and the International Reference Centre for the Life Cycle of Products, Processes and Services (CIRAIG), HEC Paris, ECOVADIS, and Olivier Menuet. ECPAR would also like to thank Hydro-Québec’s Shared Services Centre, Énergir and Ville de Montréal, which, in addition to supporting the project as members, provided financial support to ensure the dissemination of this report.

The next edition of the Barometer will take place in 2020.

In the meantime, any organization can measure its performance based on the 5 components and 20 indicators of responsible purchasing. Visit the page Responsible purchasing diagnosis of our site to learn more.
