The Barometer enables organizations in Québec and Canada to objectively self-assess and compare themselves to their peers and over time. In keeping with the political commitment to contribute to the attainment of sustainable development, the 2020 Barometer also evaluates the contribution of sustainable procurement to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set out by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

Thanks to our communication partners, the number of respondents doubled for the 2020 edition which occurred from May 2020 to December 2020. In addition, this 3rd edition considered the participation of a significant number of Canadian organizations based outside Québec (38% of respondents versus 12% in 2012).

To learn more about the results or how responsible procurement contributes to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the circular economy, the social economy, the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions or the total costs of ownership, consult the 2020 results report.

You can also learn more about the campaign, responsible procurement and leaders by visiting the 2020 Barometer website.
