DISCUSSING THE IMPLICATIONS OF THE UN GUIDING PRINCIPLES ON BUSINESS AND HUMAN RIGHTS FOR FLA

On February 19, Rachel Davis of Shift (right) made a presentation to the FLA Board of Directors and led a discussion about the implications of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights for the FLA. The presentation was based on a study conducted by Shift – an independent nonprofit organization chaired by Professor John Ruggie, former Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Business and Human Rights, who led a six-year effort to develop the UN Guiding Principles.
